Fall Bourbon Cider Sidecar
At Capers we are easing into the Fall season with a host of new cocktail selections! We created this especially with the long weekend in mind, with the first of the seasons apples appearing at our Farmer’s Markets.
The recipe is an easy one, the only trick is cutting apple slices thin enough to make the sweet apple heart garnishes.
Fall Bourbon Cider Sidecar ~ serves 4
1 cup premium Bourbon
1/2 cup fresh cider
1/4 cup Grand Marnier
3 tsp. lemon juice
thinly sliced apple rounds
2 Tbsp lemon juice and 1/2 cup water
fresh rosemary sprigs
- Mix first four ingredients in a small pitcher.
- Thinly slice apple rounds and cut into hearts with a small cookie cutter. Place hearts in water and lemon juice mixture.
- Add ice to four glasses and pour in cocktail. Decorate with a sprig of rosemary and an apple heart.
