Brunch is Always a Good Idea

When Gretchenrae and Molly came to us, they had just started the planning process with the hopes of a brunch menu, and we could not have been more excited! It is not everyday that we have a brunch wedding, and we delighted to create new menu items.

We worked closely with our executive chef, Kevin, to create a custom menu with some of their favorite brunch items. The only guideline we had to follow was to make it mostly vegetarian. We presented them with our brunch ideas, including Hash Brown Nests with Chive and Cheddar Scrambled Eggs, Breakfast Enchiladas with Sauteed Mixed Mushrooms, Bechamel & Truffle Pecorino Toscano, Cinnamon Crème Crepes with Apple Prailine Compote and many more delicious offerings. They decided to move forward with our suggestions and their wedding was in progress!

 As we continued on with the planning process, Molly and Gretchenrae wanted to keep their day a bright and vibrant celebration. We worked closely with them to plan their big day.

 

We would start the morning off with a ceremony in the courtyard of the Cambridge Multicultural Arts Center, a great location for a city wedding without the high price tag. Then guests would head inside to the gallery where they would enjoy a custom mimosa bar and passed sweet breakfast treats. After “cocktail hour”, guests headed in to the main theater where they were welcomed to the bright and elated room with yellow table linens and mulberry napkins. Molly and Gretchenrae made all of their own paper flowers and pin wheels for their centerpieces.

As guests made their way up to brunch stations, they Hyannis Accapela group provided the room with a sampling of today’s favorites. After guests enjoyed their main course they were invited up for more of couples favorite brunch treats.
