Beautiful Wedding at The Connors Center
As we prep for our first cold snap this weekend and experience the joys of the sun setting at 4:30pm, I cannot help but long for those warm summer nights. The nights like that of Sarah and Jesse’s wedding. These two truly had incredible weather!
Their wedding took place at the Connors Center in Dover, which is an absolutely breathtaking venue! With stone archways overlooking the tent, meandering paths leading from cocktail hour to reception, overarching trees creating just enough shade and an aesthetic this is typical New England- what’s not to love?!
These two tied the knot in the garden of St. Cecilia with floral mason jars lining the aisle, a basket of fans greeting guests upon arrival and refreshing lemonades in beverage dispensers.
As teary eyed guests moved from St. Cecilia’s garden into cocktail hour, Capers Catering passed a variety of Hors D’Oeuvres and guests were free to taste the many different cheeses at the International Cheese Display. From refreshing Watermelon cups with Feta, Basil and Balsamic glaze to Southwestern Pulled Chicken, guests soon had smiles on their faces, instead of teary eyes.
The stunning reception was held in the tent, just down the stone pathway from cocktail hour. With soft pinks and golden hues echoing into the night, this is one of those perfect summer nights I wish I could exchange my winter coat for!
