Backyard Summer Wedding on the Northshore, MA
This August, we enjoyed being a part of a gorgeous wedding in Topsfield, MA. We worked closely with the bride and groom and also the very talented wedding planner, Lauryn Prattes.
Guests were directed to their tables by recycled paper table assignments tied to a beautifully light tree. The lighting was provided by Design Light.
There were so many unique and creative touches, like these place card wooden plate, cutting board tables numbers, bronze cutlery, and milkglass water glasses. Winston’s did a wonderful job on the floral arrangements.
A delicious organic and sustainable naked cakes was chosen by the couple from Mayflour Confections.
And, we created fresh seasonal organic watermelon mojitos and French 75 Champagne cocktails to pass. Both are refreshing on a warm summer day.
Among other passed hors d’oeuvres were the above Caribbean Crab Salad Bites with Avocado Mousse.
The menu falls under the “dual purpose” category. The menu is made of a thin biodegradable cloth that doubled as napkins for the guests. Read more about this sustainable wedding at the couples website Recess City.
