A Spring Wedding at The Lyman Estate, Waltham, MA
With all of this warm weather and fresh spring blooms we have been getting very excited for the upcoming wedding season.
This spring wedding was at one of our favorite venues, the Lyman Estate. “Known to the public as “the Vale,” it is one of the finest examples in New England of a country estate with features of an eighteenth-century English country estate.” The Lyman Estate is set in the heart of Waltham, and offers couples the perfect venue to host a wedding that utilizes both outdoor and indoor space.
Kate decided to dress her bridesmaids in different shades of pink, which complimented the couple’s style and the decor of the Lyman Estate. With gorgeous florals from Lotus Designs the wedding was blooming with fresh flowers and succulent greens. The ceremony was held outside on the lawn, after which the guests continued on to a magnificent cocktail hour. Capers’ mission is to have the bride and groom eat on their special day. We always want to be sure to have a full platter of all the hors d’oeurves chosen, ready for the couple as soon as the ceremony is over.
As many couples do, Cal and Kate decided to have their reception in a tent that they rented from Peterson Party Center. Once guests entered into the tent they were welcomed with their very own miniature succulent place cards. Cal and Kate chose a menu that would impress their guests for years to come. As the guests finished their main course it was time to enter the house for dancing in the main ballroom. Guests grabbed their drinks and partied the night away to Stereo Chemistry. Every aspect of the event was captured by Nancy Gould, the very talented portrait photographer.
