With the DIY wedding craze, I’ve been seeing a lot of great ideas for different backdrops. Whether you want to add a special touch to the altar or dress up the reception area, most of these backdrops can be somewhat easy if you’re a crafter at heart. On the other hand, if DIY is not your thing, no worries…there are plenty of professionals that can create customized backdrops for you! The littlest details can have the biggest impact.
Dress up the altar with a phrase significant to your wedding.
Daisies & Ribbons were used at a wedding we catered in April 2011 at the Commander’s Mansion in Watertown, MA.
Tulle adds a whimsical touch to any backdrop.
Colorful Paper Wheels & Lanterns create interesting spaces.
Dress up the area behind the head table with Multicolored Ribbons & Hanging Lanterns.
Paper Flowers create a lot of different textures.
How fun is a life size Chalk Board as a backdrop!
This is my favorite! The Bride & Groom surrounded by old photos of loved ones.
