Portable Taco Station

We absolutely love to incorporate fun and exciting new ideas into all of our client’s summer outings. We have had so much fun thinking of this season’s menus. One of our favorites has been this portable taco station, featuring four different flavors of Margaritas and our Miniature Tacos. For intimate events or larger parties this cart could roam around the room offering guests the perfect pick-up as they mingle. A perfect addition to any summer event, this taco cart gives your guests bite-sized tastings full of flavor.

Below, we are featuring Tuna with Pickled Red Onion, Chili Con Carne with Cotija and Fritos, Carne Asada with Grilled Corn Relish and Smoked Chicken with Salsa Fresca.  We especially love this menu because it pairs so well with different flavors of Margaritas. We have included a Classic Margarita recipe below for those interested in trying this at home.

Portable Taco Station

Classic Margarita Recipe ~ Serves 1

Ingredients:

1 1/2 Ounces of Patron Silver Tequila
1 Ounce of Cointreau
1 Ounce of Agave Nectar
3-4 Muddled Lime Wedges
Garnish with a lime wedge and a salt rim
For different flavors muddle desired fresh fruit to be 1 TBSP

Directions:

  1. Salt the rim of a chilled rocks glass by running a lime around the rim of your glass. Dip the glass into a small plate of salt.
  2. Add the tequila, Cointreau, simple syrup and desired fruit flavor into a cocktail shaker, and mix well.
  3. Add ice to your salted rocks glass and pour in the margarita mixture.
  4. Garnish with a lime wedge
