Chia- Quinoa Protein Bars

Looking for a fun and healthy alternative to mix up your morning breakfast routine?  Our Executive Chef  has created the perfect energy bar to kick start your day! These Chia- Quinoa Protein Bars have a delicious blend of the super-food ingredients to incorporate into your morning routine.

We are often asked for healthy alternatives to add to our morning corporate and private party menus. We have found that these bars are the perfect fit those early morning meals. Try the recipe below at home!

Chia-Quinoa Protein Bars

Serving Size ~ 13 Bars

 Dry Ingredients:
1/2 cup Uncooked Quinoa
1/2 cup Black Chia Seeds
1/4 cup Ground Flax Seeds
3 cup Rolled Oats
1/2 T Ground Cinnamon
1/2 T Ground Cardamom
1/2  cup Chopped raw almonds

Combine all Dry ingredients in large bowl and set aside

 Wet:
1/4  cup Honey
1/4 cup Maple Syrup
1/4 cup Almond Butter
1/4 cup Peanut Butter

Directions

  1. Mix all of the wet ingredients in heavy bottom pan over medium heat until mixture reaches 120 degrees.
  2.  Add wet ingredients to dry in a large bowl and combine well.
  3. Spread evenly on 2 sheet pans lined with sprayed parchment paper.
  4. Bake @350 for 12 minutes.
  5. Let cool 10 minutes and flip out of pan and cut while still warm.
