Autumn Wedding at Castle Hill
This mid-September wedding at Castle Hill in Ipswich, MA was gorgeous. Allegro Photography
was kind enough to share their beautiful photos of Katie & Jamie's wedding day. The bouquet
above and all of the floral arrangements by Dana Markos were so creative and seasonally inspired.
Our hors d'oeuvres included these Pomegranate Glazed Lamb atop a Pita Crisp with Tzatziki Sauce and Pomegranate Seeds,
Miniature Lobster Rolls with Fresh Dill, Turkey Rangoon with Cranberry Aioli, and Pear, Manchego, and Chive Pizzettes.
Because the bridal party is always off taking pictures, we like to put together tasting plates for the group so
that they don't miss the cocktail hour.
I love this black and white of the bride & groom looking back at The Great House.
Autumn acorns were a part of the over-all wedding theme, and garnished each menu card at the table settings.
The bride & groom's place cards.
Here are the little acorns adorning each guest's seat.
The Gallery set-up for dinner.
Waiters lining up with the entree. On this evening there was a choice of Marinated Seared Tenderloin atop a Wild
Mushroom Crostini with Rosemary-Shallot Reduction or A Pan-Seared Halibut with Heirloom Tomatoes and Native Corn.
The vegetarian entree option was Butternut Squash Ravioli atop Sauteed Spinach with a Sage-Brown Butter
and Toasted Pepitas.
Jenny's Wedding Cakes did a lovely job with this wedding cake that fed close to 200 guests.
Our Milkshake Shooter and Hand Crafted Chocolate Dipped “Oreo” kept the guests cool on the dance floor.
Cowbells are a great change from sparklers!
