Artistic Wedding at the deCordova Museum
Getting married at the deCordova Museum was not only special for Eli and Steph because of its amazing location, but also because of the art. The couple met while working as graphic designers at Converse in Boston. Naturally, they decided to incorporate artistic elements as they tied the knot. They chose to hire Henry + Mac to capture their day, which was the perfect fit for the couple’s style. Flowers by Justine incorporated natural greenery, roses, and cafe ole dahlias for the centerpieces and into the bouquets.
As guests arrived for the ceremony they gathered on the museum’s sculpture terrace waiting for the bride and groom to arrive. After the ceremony guests made their way to the Dewey gallery, where pass hors d’oeurves, a full bar, and an artisanal cheese display was waiting for them. As guests finished their light bites, they headed to the reception held in a Peterson Party Center tent. Where they were welcomed to a buffet of seasonal selections, including wood-grilled tri-tip sirloin with au jus and horseradish crème, jonah crab crusted hake with charred lemons, and spring pea, asparagus and lemon risotto with mascarpone. The couple really wanted to give their guests a place to enjoy themselves and to relax for a fun evening in celebration of their love!
