For over 20 years, award-winning Capers Catering has been an innovator the Boston catering market with unique spins on classic dishes, event design, and presentations. We have worked to establish relationships with local farmers to provide our clients with customized locally sourced menus presented with care.Owner and author, Emma Roberts and her team of experienced event professionals enjoy establishing long term relationships with each client. Capers’ prides itself on responsive customer service and care for the environment.

Capers excels in listening to our client’s ideas and objectives, creating customized farm-to-table menus and event plans for executing even the most ambitious signature styles. Pushing the boundaries of design and culinary expressions are a hallmark of the company.

In 2005 Capers created Flip Flops Clambakes and Barbecues to meet our client’s need for casual summer entertaining that maintained the grace and originality of the Capers brand.

Farm to Fork

Our Philosophy:

We believe that locally sourced seasonal ingredients make for sensational meals. That is the reason Jon, our executive chef, has spent time building relationships with all of our farmers and artisanal partners. Our menus are handcrafted and we value the integrity of each dish we create. We source our ingredients from local dairy farmers, produce farmers, artisan cheeses makers, brewers, fish mongers, poultry and livestock farmers, bee keepers and many more neighboring artisans. Depending on the season and availability, we can’t always promise our client’s locally sourced ingredients, but we will choose organic products in their stead.

Capers began the transition to a zero waste, earth friendly company in earnest over the past ten years. Since then, we have introduced several measures to reduce our corporate footprint. At Capers all food is composted and all trash is recycled.
